Solid spot for grub. Had the combo fried rice and beef w/broccoli. Both were tasty but overpriced for the portion size. Place was spotless and mostly empty, prob because it was past lunch hour (3:20). Service was courteous and my order was taken quickly. Food was brought out hot.

This place is so great. I go here when I want to eat a lot of really amazing food. The atmosphere is calm and tranquil with some classic Chinese music playing. The complementary fried won tons they serve are delicious. The egg rolls have crispy outsides and a juicy, moist interior. The beef stick kebabs are sweet and tender. The paper wrapped chicken is always the star of my order. The beef broccoli is always perfectly seasoned and cooked. The broccoli in it is still crisp and fresh. The chow mien has a perfect consistency and a very nice flavor. Even the steamed rice is pretty good. Tsing Tao beer which is served here is light and crisp. Similar to an American light beer but with a little more flavor and less carbonation. This restaurant is really under rated. I think they deserve more business. Keep up the good work!

Authentic taste! Grabbed the seafood chow mein and fried rice since we were still hungry from a prior earlier dinner. A must if you want your Chinese food fix in the area and this is the only one by the city/state beach. We came here twice during our 2 night stay. Staff is very friendly.

Uncle Chen is my favorite Chinese cuisine restaurant in SB county. The owners are so kind and friendly! All the food are so tasty. We had dinner special, I liked Kung Pao chicken a lot.

I LOVE this place! I've been coming here for years, and while every dish is excellent, I always get their egg drop soup. Simple and perfectly flavorful. Plus, I can't say enough nice things about everyone here. So nice & friendly - and they always remember me. That personal touch makes a difference.

Best Chinese restaurant I've been to in a long time. The food is delicious, flavorful and the portions are huge. Our family loves going here when we are in town. The service is friendly and attentitive. We even made sure to go one last time before leaving town. Thank you for a great experience.

My family really enjoys Uncle Chen’s. They make vegan dishes! We dorks them we eat vegan and they let us know the batter isn’t and they can pan fry the tofu without. Delicious! Sweet & sour tofu yum!
